QCS Business Intelligence Manager requires no changes to your current business software or your business processes. It connects, under rigorous, read-only security control to your business database and extracts data from it to present in dashboard instruments and reports.

Its main functions are:

Dashboards: An unlimited set of dashboards that can each be tailored for a specific group of users or even a single user. From a dashboard, a user can drill down to detailed reports that provide detail behind each dashboard instrument

Report Selector: An intuitive tool for each user to choose among the reports he or she is authorized to run and then select and sort on various criteria to customize the report on the fly

Dashboard and Report Registration: A set of tools used by the implementers of the software to describe the specific dashboards and reports they need to craft and the SQL Server objects that will provide their recordsets.

• It is a web application so that you can deploy it on an Intranet or the Intranet.
• It has rigorous security control, using the QCS Security toolkit so you can ensure that users see only the dashboards and reports for which they are authorized
• It is multi-lingual by use of a glossary structure that makes it easy to add support for whatever languages your users require
• It is data-independent. It does not assume anything about the industry, application, or data structure of the database whose information it extracts into dashboards and reports

It has been developed specifically to take advantage of Microsoft SQL Server 2005 and its Reporting Services. It is a Microsoft ,Net application written in Visual Studio 2005’s Visual Basic .Net..
